According to Herald, if residents who travel out of the area with the aim of continuing their education for more than six months then they must take care of the population file from Jayapura.
“The process is not difficult, so far we often serve students or people who will continue their education outside Papua,” he said.
He explained that students who are 17 years old when they are outside the city are advised to take care of the identity card with the latest address but the family card adjusts only without having to move.
“Actually there is no need to move the family card if you have to continue your education outside Papua, you only need to take care of an identity card or student card with a local address,” he said again.
He added that if people are already out of town and want to take care of some population files then they can go through the available online channels.
“For the people of Jayapura Regency who are already outside Papua but need population documents, they can take care of it through our online service,” he said again.
