JABAR EKSPRES – PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, the Commercial & Trading Subholding of PT Pertamina (Persero), recorded a net profit of US$ 193.07 million throughout 2022.
The net profit was obtained from an increase in operating income in 2022 which reached US$72.094 million, an increase of around US$25.874 million or 55 percent higher than in 2021.
“Despite the challenging conditions, we can get through 2022 by continuing to achieve positive performance and continuing to carry out energy distribution assignments throughout Indonesia,” said PT Pertamina Patra Niaga President Director Alfian Nasution through a written statement received in Jakarta, Friday (6/9).

The consolidated financial performance in 2022 was in accordance with the results of the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) which approved the annual report for the 2022 fiscal year which took place in Jakarta on Thursday (6/8).
Pertamina Patra Niaga also said that the positive financial performance was supported by several things, including increasing revenue from consumption of non-subsidized products and making cost savings ranging from distribution costs, maintaining supply losses and effective use of working hours.
“Distribution costs can be reduced by 15 percent from the 2022 target. Then maintaining supply losses and the effectiveness of working hours managed to record cost savings of more than 130 million US dollars,” Alfian said.
In addition to financial performance, Pertamina Patra Niaga noted that the operational performance of energy distribution also showed a positive trend. For the availibity aspect, the fulfillment or availability of fuel increased by 5 percent and the durability of all products was maintained at a safe level for all types of fuel, LPG and avtur.
From the availability aspect, Pertamina Patra Niaga also continues to expand its network of channeling institutions throughout Indonesia. Throughout 2022, 96 new one-price BBM points were operated, the presence of more than 64 thousand bases or 3 kilogram (kg) subsidized LPG outlets through the One Village One Oulet (OVOO) program, and Pertashop which increased to more than 2,000 outlets throughout 2022.
