JABAR EKSPRES – First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo met with the wife of Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Dr. Wan Azizah during her visit to Putrajaya, Malaysia, Thursday (6/8).
According to a press statement received by Indonesia Window here on Thursday, the meeting was held on a Cruise Kelah cruise ship.
After being welcomed at the official residence in the Seri Perdana complex, the First Lady and Dato’ Seri Dr. Wan Azizah went together to the Putrajaya Tasik Cruise pier.
The two were reportedly intimate and held hands as they descended the stairs to the dock located on the edge of the lake.
After boarding the Kelah Cruise, the First Lady and Dato’ Seri Dr Wan Azizah then sat on the seats that had been provided, to tour Putrajaya Lake, Malaysia.
During the cruise, the First Lady and Dato’ Seri Dr Wan Azizah reportedly had a relaxed and warm conversation while enjoying the view of a number of landmarks in Putrajaya.
After sailing around Putrajaya Lake for approximately 1 hour, the First Lady was then invited by Dato’ Seri Dr. Wan Azizah to a souvenir shop at the Putrajaya Cruise Tasik pier.
There, the Iriana Joko Widodo saw a number of souvenirs typical of Putrajaya, Malaysia, which were in the shop.
Also accompanying the First Lady in the meeting was the wife of Indonesian Ambassador to Malaysia Sri Rejeki, while Dato’ Seri Dr Wan Azizah was accompanied by the wife of Malaysian Foreign Minister Datin Seri Saripah.
