BMKG Predicts Rain in Some Areas of Jabodetabek

JABAR EKSPRES – The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that parts of Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) will be showered with rain on Wednesday (6/7).

Based on a weather forecast report monitored from the bmkg.go.id website in Jakarta, Wednesday morning, for the DKI Jakarta area, light intensity rain is expected to fall in East Jakarta and South Jakarta in the afternoon and evening.

Meanwhile, West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, and Kepulauan Seribu are predicted to be cloudy throughout the day.

The average temperature in DKI Jakarta on Wednesday is estimated to be between 24 to 32 degrees Celsius with humidity of 65 to 90 percent.

Meanwhile, for the Bogor, Depok and Tangerang areas, rain with light to moderate intensity is predicted to fall in the afternoon and evening.

The average temperature in Bogor is predicted to be between 22-28 degrees Celsius with 60-95 percent humidity, while in Depok the average temperature ranges from 22 to 32 degrees Celsius with 55-95 percent humidity.

As for Tangerang, the temperature will range from 24-32 degrees Celsius with 60-95 percent humidity.

In Bekasi, light-intensity rain is predicted to fall during the day, and temperatures in the city will be in the range of 24 to 32 degrees Celsius with 55-95 percent humidity.

On its official website, BMKG also issued an early warning of potential rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds with a short duration in parts of Jabodetabek.
