JABAR EKSPRES – The closing ceremony of the 2023 Java Jazz Festival at Jiexpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Sunday (6/4), was enlivened by the performances of four legendary musicians who brought the audience into a nostalgic state.
The four musicians were none other than Deddy Dhukun, Mus Mujiono, Fariz RM, and Vina Panduwinata, performing energetically on the same stage.
Starting the action on the stage, Deddy Dhukun, with his syahdunya voice, sang the hit song of his 1989 release “Masih Ada”.
Looking charming in a black suit and his climactic hair tied up, Deddy continued his stage act with the old songs “Aku Ini Punya Siapa” and “Bohong”, which suddenly made the audience sing while dancing in their seats.
“Do you still remember the song ‘Aku Ini Punya Siapa’? Whose, yours,” joked Deddy.

“For those here, good night, I love you,” he added.
Not long after, Mus Mujiono took the stage in his black leather jacket and jeans, performing the song “Doubt” with Deddy Dhukun.
“Eh where are you going, later,” Mus said inviting Deddy to duet.
After “Keraguan”, Deddy returned to the backstage, and let the musician dubbed George Benson Indonesia perform while masterfully playing his classical guitar.
“Guess what song I’m singing?” Mus joked with the audience.
The musician with the nickname Nono then continued his act by nimbly performing the songs “Arti Kehidupan” and “Tanda-tandanya”, reminding the audience of their youthful romance.
After Mus Mujiono performed three songs, it was Fariz RM’s turn to take the stage.
With his red keytar, the friend of the late David Bowie sang “Nada Kasih” and managed to make the whole hall sing without any wrong lyrics, as if forgetting about his various life problems.
“It’s fun, these old people, that’s what they do, they save their breath for other interests,” Fariz said jokingly.
