JABAR EKSPRES – A woman died in Knoxville, on February 5th, after sources said she had a stroke and broken ankle. Lisa Edwards (60) was discharged after presented herself at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.
She was on a flight from a nursing home in Rhode Island on February 4th. She began to complaining of abdominal pain. Edwards was reportedly taken to Blount Memorial Hospital where she was diagnosed with constipation.
Then she took an additional treatment at Fort Sanders and was discharged around 7 a.m. February 5th, but refused to leave. The medical center security was later called police officers to have her leave from the hospital. Lisa Edwards then was taken into custody by the four officers only to get a ‘horrible’ treatment.

She refused to leave and they took her into a police van. As she was on a wheelchair, Lisa Edwards couldn’t get herself into the van, but the four kept telling her to do so. She fell on the ground multiple times and asked the officers to help her get up. Which they do, after a long brief minutes.
On Her Way To Detention Center
Later on, the officers called in a patrol car and started to load her into and took her to the detention center. On their way to the center, she begins repeatedly to heavy breathing and told them that “I can’t breathe”.
After a few moments of heavy breathing and unintelligible responses, she then disappeared from the camera view of the patrol car. Shortly ahead, the car stopped to check on her.
The officer asked her if she can get up but got no response at all. He pushes her body into sitting position while repeatedly ask her to ‘sit up’ and ‘wake up’, she’s still unresponsive.
He then told the communication that “I don’t know if she’s faking it, but she’s not answering,” as he lifts Lisa Edwards’ head by her hair. And the police footage ends.
