JABAR EKSPRES – Lazio moved up to second place in the Italian League standings after beating Cremonese with a score of 3-2 in the 37th week at the Stadio Olimpico, Rome, Sunday (5/28) night local time.
Lazio’s victory came thanks to goals from Elseid Hysaj and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (2), while Cremonese had replied through Pablo Galdames and Manuel Lazzari’s own goal, according to Italian League records.
Now, Lazio are in second place in the Italian League standings with 71 points from 37 matches, while Cremonese occupy the 19th position with 24 points.
In this match Lazio appeared dominant by recording 58 percent ball possession and release 12 kicks, eight of which were on target.
When the game has only been running for four minutes, Lazio was able to excel thanks to a goal scored by Elseid Hysaj utilizing a pass sent by Ciro Immobile so that the score changed to 1-0.

Lazio did not relax their attacks and had a golden opportunity through Luis Alberto’s hard kick, but the ball was cleared by Cremonese goalkeeper Mouhamadou Sarr.
Maurizio Sarri’s squad managed to double the lead in the 37th minute after Pedro’s cross was converted into a goal by Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s cheat so that the score changed to 2-0.
Furthermore, in the 54th minute Cremonese managed to reduce the gap to 1-2 thanks to a goal from outside the penalty box released by Pablo Galdames.
Cremonese were able to equalize 2-2 in the 58th minute after Alex Ferrari’s cross failed to be well anticipated by Manuel Lazzari so that the ball entered the Lazio goal guarded by Ivan Provedel.
Lazio had golden opportunities through kicks released by Felipe Anderson and Immobile, but both successive efforts were countered by Sarr.
