JABAR EKSPRES — Russia sees no point in maintaining diplomatic relations with Poland as long as anti-Russian forces are in power in the country, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, said on his social media accounts on Sunday (4/30).
“I think there is no point in maintaining diplomatic relations with Poland,” Medvedev wrote in English and Polish.
The former Russian president thinks Poland is of no use to Russia as long as it continues to be controlled by people who are anti-Russian. In addition, he considers Ukraine to be filled with Polish mercenaries who must be exterminated like exterminating sewer rats.
Medvedev’s tweet was posted after the incident that took place at the Russian embassy school in Warsaw.
Andrey Ordash, Minister-Counsellor of the Russian Embassy in Poland, told TASS that Polish authorities ordered the school’s staff to vacate the premises at 7 p.m. on Saturday local time.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said the Kremlin considers the Polish government’s actions a blatant violation of the 1961 Vienna Convention and a form of interference with Russian diplomatic property in Poland.
The ministry also emphasized that Warsaw’s actions would be met with a strong response from the Kremlin and there would be consequences for Poland.
