JABAR EKSPRES — Indonesians are good at preparing interesting objects that utilize their natural wealth to spoil the eyes.
The natural wealth, ranging from beaches, forests, mountains, to the elements in it have visuals, like the art sculptures of the Creator. One of them is Batu Lawang Park, located in Cupang Village, Gempol District, Cirebon Regency, West Java.
The exotic object, which is only about 5 hours and 44 minutes from Jakarta and was inaugurated on May 21, 2016, has the name “Lawang” which means door in Sundanese.
Taman Batu Lawang tour guide, Doni explained, that the name was due to the presence of a large and tall rock towering upwards, which naturally splits to form a kind of entrance.

Taman Batu Lawang welcomes visitors every day from 07:00 to 17:00 WIB. It takes a little time to get to this place because tourists have to pass through Cupang Village, a village that has a large plantation, has a lot of corn crops and a small road that is a little gravel in order to go to the top.

Each stone has its own shape and color, some are piled up or circular, like a bird’s nest. While the color of the stone, ranging from beige, to dark gray. The manager has anticipated the safety of visitors by building footholds and guardrails as places to take selfies on certain stones.
