JabarEkspres.com, BANDUNG – West Java’s Health Office (Dinkes Jabar) has confirmed Covid-19 new variants in West Java.
The Head of Surveillance Team and The Immunization of West Java’s Health Office dr. Dewi Ambarwati said that the team has found two cases of Covid-19 new variants. It is called XBB variant.
“This Covid-19 new variants has entered West Java. There are two cases West Java’s Health Office has had,” Dewi said in interview with Jabar Ekspres, Nov 19, 2022.

Dewi outlined that West Java’s Health Office has had a report of this new variants since three days ago.
“The report has been taken (by Wealth Java’s Health Office) since three days ago and those reports have been confirmed as XBB, it is in the District of Bogor,” she said.
Then, Dewi said, that Covid-19 new variants, XBB, is a new threat of the Covid-19 deployment in West Java as well.
She added that this new variant has a variant transmission spreading fastly.
She predicted that the case deployment of XBB’s new cases might be raising up Covid-19 cases drastically in West Java.
“In Singapore, Covid-19 has increased. And the The Ministry of Health has given a warning as well,” she said.
So that, Dewi urged people to tighten back the application of health protocols.

“Now we often see people don’t wear a mask again. Using handsanitizer should be urged again to people. The first is health protocols,” she urged.
