“As to why we won, there were no specific criteria or scores revealed to all the winners. The best guess is that we can answer all the questions well on how we connect with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The preparation process for all of this started in June 2023,” Kalbe Corporate Sustainability Senior Manager Abi Nisaka explained.
According to Abi, Kalbe is able to translate all targets into operational targets that refer to the 9 Pillars of Erat Sehat.
“Then, how we can create shared value. How we link this communication with product awareness and product sales,” Abi explained.
Abi explained that the company is trying to get more exposure for sustainability initiatives.
“The impact, how we relate to the SDGs, and how to collaborate with relevant stakeholders to have an impactful sustainability program,” Abi explained.
