Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Latif Usman urged traffic users to support the success of the 43rd ASEAN Summit.
Local governments have also issued policies such as closing schools and implementing work from home (WFH) policies.
“Of course this is the work of all of us, on behalf of our country too, the pride of our country, we must support everything,” he said.
Latif also apologized to the public for the traffic engineering and hoped that the public would also participate for the success of the ASEAN Summit in Jakarta.
“We certainly apologize to the public with this activity, but it’s not that we make it difficult. We also want to participate for the success of the ASEAN Summit in Jakarta,” he said.
