JABAR EKSPRES – Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Sukabumi City Police AKP Yanto Sudiarto revealed from the investigation of two Youtubers who were arrested at a house in Cibeureum Permai 1 Housing, Sukabumi City, West Java, for promoting online gambling controlled by overseas bookies.
“The two Youtubers who were named as suspects, FU (32), a resident of Brebes, Central Java and S (18), a resident of Warnasari, Sukabumi Regency, admitted to being controlled by online bookies in Thailand,” AKP Yanto told reporters in Sukabumi on Tuesday (8/29).
According to Yanto, the suspects admitted that they had never met or met face-to-face with the online bookies. However, from their information, the online bookies are Indonesian citizens living in Thailand.

In this case, S, who is a woman, is in charge of broadcasting live on her Youtube channel, namely “KokoSlotGacor”, where the suspect gets a salary of IDR 500 thousand every three hours during live streaming.
Meanwhile, FU is in charge of providing various equipment to make live broadcasts on Youtube. The online gambling site promoted by the suspect is “Pendekar 138”.
“They admitted that they had only been promoting the online gambling site for two weeks at the request of an Indonesian citizen who was suspected of being an online gambling dealer in Thailand. The suspect communicates with the bookie only through social media and has never met,” he added.
He said the arrest of the two suspects on Saturday (8/26) night was thanks to information from citizens who provided information through the Lapor Pak Polisi-SIAP MAS hotline.
The two suspects were charged with Article 27 paragraph (2) jo Article 45 paragraph (2) of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 19 of 2016 concerning amendments to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2008 concerning electronic information and transactions with a maximum prison sentence of six years.
