Focusing on improving physical, mental and spiritual health, wellness tourism has attracted travelers with a variety of activities that are not only a feast for the eyes but also encourage improvement in body condition.
According to data from the Partnership For Australia Indonesia Research, travelers’ preference for nature and fitness tourism or what is commonly referred to as wellness tourism is predicted to continue to increase.

This will contribute to revenue in the nature-based lodging and camping industry of up to US$100 billion and an annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.9 percent.
Unfortunately, the number of accommodations that support the needs and interests of the public in wellness tourism is still relatively limited. The Global Wellness Institute revealed that although Indonesia has the largest market potential in Southeast Asia, the country still ranks 19th as a wellness tourism destination.
And that means that there is still great potential to develop wellness tourism in Indonesia, especially as consumer interest continues to increase.
Responding to this condition, technology-based accommodation startup Bobobox in the first semester of this year launched one of the newest accommodation locations, namely Bobocabin Ubud, Bali.
Unlike other Bobobox products, Bobocabin Ubud is designed to optimize the experience of Tegallalang’s serene natural charm, supporting the revitalization of each guest’s mental and physical health, or what is familiarly called wellbeing.
The accommodation, located in Kedisan Village, Tegallalang, Gianyar, Bali, has 33 cabins consisting of Executive and Deluxe types.
Each room is equipped with facilities such as a bathroom with hot shower, complete toiletries, tea set, smart B-Pad tablet that can adjust the sound system, room light and privacy of cabin windows to support the quality of guests’ rest while enjoying the green scenery.
