JABAR EKSPRES – Brighton & Hove Albion player Adam Lallana says the arrival of his former Liverpool teammate James Milner will have a big impact on his team’s progress.
Having been contracted until 2024 with an option to extend for one year, Milner’s arrival, according to Lallana, adds to Brighton’s experienced squad and this will greatly help his team navigate next season which not only appears in domestic competition, but also in European competition, namely the Europa League for the first time.
“James has been in the Premier League for a long time, he defines the word professionalism and if we can use the strength of players like him and others like him and help the team as a whole, it will only help,” said Lallana, reported through the club’s official website, Thursday (6/15).
Milner has been active in English football for 20 years since making his debut in the season 2002/2003 when defending Leeds United.
For two decades, player 37 that year is now the third player with the highest number of appearances in the Premier League in history 619 appearance, behind Ryan Giggs with 632 appearances and Gareth Barry with 652 appearance.

After joining the player who has 61 caps with the England national team, the club based at the American Express Community Stadium now has seven senior players over 30 years, five of whom are Jadon Steele (32), Lewis Dunk (31), Joel Veltman (31), Pascal Gross (31), and Danny Welbeck (32).
According to Lallana, who is also a senior player in the team with the age of 35, in addition to helping maintain the conduciveness of the dressing room, the presence of many senior players who are rich in experience also greatly helps his team, which is now managed by Roberto De Zerbi, to succeed in the future.
