Espargaro Says Injury Kept Him from Optimal Performance in Italian MotoGP

At Mugello, Lorenzo Savadori also rode with the RS-GP managed by the Aprilia Racing Test Team. He showed good pace and only showed a weakness mid-race that prevented him from finishing in the points zone.

“I’m very satisfied with our work at the weekend and the pace we showed, even if the final result didn’t show what we wanted. I was fighting for the points positions,” Savadori said.

“I felt really good and fast until about halfway through the race when I almost lost control of the front of the bike. We will investigate what caused this, but unfortunately, these things happen, the only thing you can do is finish the race,” he added.
