The incident triggered a less conducive security condition so that the Tambrauw Regency Health Office asked the health workers to leave the area immediately. All health workers safely arrived in Sorong on Saturday morning.
The Ministry of Health team from the Directorate of Health Worker Empowerment and the Directorate of Development and Supervision, Directorate General of Health Workers will immediately go to Sorong to meet the health workers.
It is planned that on Monday (12/6) the Ministry of Health will hold a meeting with the Health Office and local authorities to discuss further efforts and facilitation of the health workers’ residence while in Sorong.
