JABAR EKSPRES – The impact of the military conflict that occurred in Sudan, between the military and paramilitary RSF, has killed as many as 528 people.
The Sudanese Ministry of Health stated that a total of 4,599 people were injured as a result of the conflict in Sudan from April 15 to 27.
The Sudanese Ministry of Health previously reported that 512 people had died and 4,193 others were injured.
Saturday (29/4), there were clashes again between the Sudanese military and the RSF paramilitaries and a ceasefire was enforced for three days.
RSF claims that they have successfully shot down a military aircraft in the Omdurman area. However, the Sudanese military has yet to provide a statement on the claim.

Since the fighting that erupted on April 15, thousands of people have fled the country.
The RSF side is proposing full participation in the role of the Sudanese military. Which is a major issue in various negotiations.
Regional and international parties have also mediated as a form of transition process towards democratic government.
Since October 2021, Sudan has no governing constitution. As a result of the dissolution of the transitional government of Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok. Thus declaring a “coup” emergency status.
The transitional period in the country already has plans for holding elections in early 2024.
Director of the Horn of Africa at the International Crisis Group, mentions that “This is an existential power struggle on both sides,”. He also added that the conflict was a “very pointless” game.
