Celtics Fail to Make History, Heat Head to NBA Finals

In this seventh game, the Celtics players showed a game like in the first and third games where they were finished off by Jimmy Butler and friends. Lack of accuracy, weak to penetrate the defense, and often missed.

The peak of the Celtics’ frustration occurred in the fourth quarter where they fired 14 three-point shots to catch up with the deficit, but only two balls made it into the basket. Instead of catching up, the Celtics were increasingly left behind by 23 points from Miami.

In this match Jaylen Brown scored the highest points with 19 points, Derrick White 18 points, and Jayson Tatum 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Tatum contributed very little in the match with shooting accuracy 38,5 percent. He made no points in the first quarter, and only put the ball in the basket once each in the third and fourth quarters.

Instead Jimmy Butler returned to be the top scorer for the Heat with 28 points, Caleb Martin 26 points and 10 rebounds, Bam Adebayo 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Gabe Vincent and Duncan Robinson each contributed 10 points.

With a 4-3 victory in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals, the Miami Heat have the right to advance to the final round, the NBA Finals to face the Denver Nuggets who are already waiting.
