JABAR EKSPRES – The Directorate of Drug Detection (Ditresnarkoba) of the Bali Regional Police dismantled an international drug network involving foreign nationals from Russia and Uzbekistan.
Wadiresnarkoba Bali Police, AKBP Panco Indriyo, during a press conference in Denpasar, Bali, Tuesday (5/30), said the police arrested three perpetrators of the international drug network, namely Khamidov Magomed (Russia), Komarov Denis (Russia), and Romanov Denis (Uzbekistan), Azamat Babniyazov (Indonesian citizen) and Sugiharto (Indonesian citizen).
In addition, the Bali Police also arrested two Uzbek citizens with the initials YO and MA, but after being proven not to have narcotics, the two were handed over to immigration for violating their residence permits.
“This is an international network from Uzbekistan to Russia. As for what we have currently secured the suspected perpetrators (operating) in four locations,” said Panco.

Panco said the disclosure of the international network narcotics trafficking case originated from a public report on the rampant drug trafficking around the Kuta area, Badung Regency, Bali, which was allegedly controlled by foreign nationals.
Panco said the perpetrators were secured in different places with evidence, namely from suspects AB and SU who were arrested in front of Ramayana Hotel with evidence of 1,678 net grams of marijuana, 67 net grams of hashish, and three airsoft guns.
“From AB, three airsoft guns were found, but the person concerned admitted that this was entrusted to him by his colleague in Malaysia,” he said.
Meanwhile, from suspects KD and RD who were secured on Jalan Yudistira, Tampak Siring Village, the police confiscated narcotics evidence of 101.4 net grams of marijuana and 7.54 net grams of hashish.
From the perpetrators YO and MA who were secured on Jalan Kartika Plaza Gang Samudra, Kuta District, the police obtained 994 net grams of nazwar wrapped in 23 clear plastics.
