“To be honest, it was a very small accident. I (crashed) on the inside of Turn 16, it’s a typical miscalculation in Monaco,” he said.
When asked about pole opportunities, Sainz said he was also quite confident because Ferrari was on the right track, even though Red Bull was still the biggest competitor at the moment.
“We are closer than the previous weekend,” said Sainz.
