JABAR EKSPRES — Policewomen of Tanjung Priok Port Police entertained the children of fire victims in the Tembok Bolong area, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, on Monday (24/4).
Deputy Chief of Tanjung Priok Port Police, Kompol Yunita Natallia Rungkat, led the ranks of the Policewomen (Polwan) to the evacuation camp for victims of the fire that occurred during the Eid al-Fitr takbir night on Saturday (22/4) morning.
The activity took place in the yard of Muara Angke Traditional Fishery Products Processing Office, Penjaringan, North Jakarta.
Around 218 houses near the Muara Angke area were burned down by the fire when residents were preparing to welcome Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijriah.

Yunita said that the loss of property due to the fire has left deep sorrow and sadness. Daily activities were disrupted and residents had to evacuate to other places temporarily.
These changing conditions can cause pressure, anxiety and even trauma. “If sustained and untreated, it can lead to psychological disorders such as depression,” said Yunita.
Therefore, trauma recovery by holding interactive entertainment for refugee children of fire victims at Tembok Bolong Muara Angke, Pluit Penjaringan, North Jakarta, is important.
The activity began at 09.00 WIB, led by the Deputy Chief of Tanjung Priok Port Police. Polwan personnel were present in the middle of the fire victims to entertain and encourage them.
This is a form of concern and an effort to eliminate trauma due to fire, especially in children. In addition, this activity was also accompanied by the provision of basic necessities, snack packages, snacks, milk and other items.
“We entertain the fire victims, especially the children, by playing together and singing together,” said Kompol Yunita.
Although this activity is simple, it is expected to facilitate the victims, especially the children, to voice their feelings and hopes and reduce their deep sadness.
