JABAR EKSPRES —The Banda Aceh Municipal Government, Aceh Province reminded the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) within the local municipal government not to use state facilities, especially official vehicles, to do homecoming this Eid al-Fitr 1444 hijri.
“So please go home, but by using private vehicles, not official vehicles as instructed by the central government,” said Banda Aceh Acting Mayor, Bakri Siddiq, in Banda Aceh, Monday (17/4).
As is known, the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan RB), Abdullah Azwar Anas, has issued Circular Letter Number 7 of 2023 concerning the Implementation of Discipline and Travel Protocols outside the Region for ASN employees during the 2023 national holiday and collective leave period.

The circular emphasizes that all state civil apparatus (ASN) in Indonesia are not allowed to use official cars for Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijri homecoming this year.
Bakri emphasized that he asked ASN in Banda Aceh to follow up on the circular from Menpan RB by really not using official vehicles for going home, be it cars or motorbikes.
“Let’s follow the direction of the central government, don’t let anyone violate the provisions,” he said.
On this occasion, Bakri also said that the regulations submitted by the central government must be followed. If later someone dares to violate, then they can be sanctioned according to Government Regulation Number 94 of 2021 concerning Civil Servant Discipline.
“Who violates the sanctions according to the provisions of government regulations on ASN discipline. But we are sure and believe that Banda Aceh ASN will comply,” said Bakri.
