Hundreds of foreigners were expelled from Indonesian territory due to several immigration violations, such as misusing visas and residence permits, overstaying, disturbing public order, causing trouble, and not complying with applicable regulations in Indonesia.
“Against foreigners who have problems in Indonesia, we sanction administrative actions in the form of detention, deportation, to deterrence or not allowed to enter Indonesian territory again for a certain period of time,” said Director General of Immigration, Silmy Karim.
